The “Millipp” is not
simply a hotel.
It is a real gem,
which has been carried on
since 1458 with our heart and pride
by several generations


It was in the year 1401,
when the Walthierer family received
their town charter
from the town Beilngries.
The town gate opened and they settled down
at the present estate, which had No. 19 at the time.
And since then we have been here, in the 14th generation
with Franz Walthierer and his wife Christa –
together with their daughter Stephi and her husband Uli.
Actually, we are already in the 15th and 16th generation.


The Walthierer family have always
been butchers and gastronomes
and they have become more and more.
In order to be able to distinguish the inns,
each inn was given a name.
The previous owner of the estate no. 19
was a farmer in the town named Miller Phillipp
and that is why the inn, which was built in 1458,
got the name MILLIPP up to this date.
Thanks to a restoration according to
historical monuments in 2003/4
by Franz Walthierer and his wife Christa,
the guesthouse has been shining as a gem
brighter than ever.

A love which has been carried on
by your hosts – the Walthierer family
up to this date.
It must be a secret of a living history
in combination with the high demands
for an inspiring gastronomy,
demands for
a comfortable ambiance
and a great delightful environment
which makes the Millipp
so attractive and therefore addresses
the hearts of their guests.
